I am an artist and frame my own watercolors…usually in metal frames. These are the perfect length for securing the metal clips and also tightening the picture wire on the back of the frame.

Channellock tools are exceptional. Yes, a little more expensive but well worth it for those who appreciate quality. And made by our neighbors in the USA as well!

Ive been on a tool buying kick lately – Klein, Wera, Wiha, Knipex, etc. Buy once – cry once. I like the idea of supporting good tools from US makers, and these pliers are well priced and highly reviewed. Online order, so i didnt rifle through the rack to look as several pair … The tool feels great – smooth action right out of the packaging. I expect them to last for quite some time. That said, I’m not entirely sure what happened to the shape of the jaws as they taper to the nose. I wont say theyre bent, more like, what i can only guess is a manual operation to grind them into form together, went wrong. One jaw looks like it would have been fine. The other is misshapen to one side and in some odd attempt to correct, the good jaw had one edge ground down making it less pronounced. Will they likely last for a long time? Yes. Can they grab just fine? Sure. Just expected a bit more quality given the high marks Channellock usually receives, particularly in the context of “Made in the USA”. Still recomment for the price, but i’d rather pay a little more to avoid these types of manufacturing oddities.

What more do I need to say? These needle nose pliers are well made and durable when used as intended. The handles are very comfortable providing plenty of grip. It’s hard to find quality tools today as most are imported from China.

these pliers are able to squeeze a lot. They are imprecisely formed, rendering one point twice as thick as the other, but they have not failed so far, if that means anything.

I only buy Channellock brand pliers and cutters. They are superior to all other brands.

Thing I like most is that the needle nose tip comes to a sharp point. Many do not these days, leaving a fat tip that won’t fit into the smallest spots. Action is smooth and handle feels good in my large hands.
