Much better quality than the others purchased at HD and used. And guess what? Less expensive and made in USA. Obviously the other companies value their profit over quality. Steel, grip and cutting edge still sharp and un damaged. Othets could n ok t hold up.

This pliers are a bit stiff to operate at first. I used a bit of valve grinding compound on them and now they are really smooth to open and close. They grip really good due to the crosshatch pattern. The handles are comfortable. This is a great tool.

You can buy the cheapo 3 dollar pair and struggle or pick y up the 7 bucks and get smith working tools that work as they should . I don’t like the price but I buy American and need reliable tools.
