A friend recommended I get this tool to help me pull the staples after I ripped up carpeting and the padding. The padding was stapled down and with the help of this tool, it was a lot easier than doing other things. Definitely would recommend this tool.

I have some diagonal side cutting pliers as well but I grab this whenever possible. For me, it is easier to see exactly where your cut will be which helps me with precise cuts. I’ve cut wire, small nails and various other things with these and there seems to be no wear yet. I also own other pliers/cutters from Channellock and other manufacturers and think these are a great value for the money.
