I am happy with my purchase of the “Channellock 4 in 1 Metric Ratcheting Wrench Set”. I like the fact that it is “100% Made in the USA” as noted on the front of my package.I like the Channellock ratchet design because I can easily press on the sides to have the ratchet rotate the other way (Some other brands have a design where the part you move with your thumb protrudes out, which means it can get caught on things and possibly break off).I also like that these 2 wrenches basically take the place of 8! As soon as I received it, I used the 19mm to tighten a bolt on a hitch mounted cargo basket, and it worked fine. I was able to tighten it with force, but I am not sure how well it would work under “heavy torque” (but then again, I don’t think ratcheting wrenches are really meant for “heavy” work). After looking it over for quality, and using it, I expect it to hold up just fine for use around the house and on my SUV. I”m thinking of ordering the Channellock SAE set, but that set also comes in black, and I’d like it to be chrome so I could more easily tell them apart from metric.

I bought these to work on some projects at home and I’m happy so far. The fit and finish are top notch. The ratcheting is easy to work with and you get four sizes per wrench so you only need to carry two wrenches to handle most fasteners. The only drawback is that these seem a little on the lightweight side. I wouldn’t recommend putting a cheater bar on one of these wrenches and giving it the old college try. But for 90% of my other uses for a wrench this is my go-to tool. Made in USA too.
