My compact tractor has several large, multiple-sized bolts on the 3-point hitch…including one on the “implement leveling/tilting lift arm.” While I have large open-ended wrenches for adjusting/tightening them while the tractor is “in port,” this adjustable wrench can provide more-than-adequate “field” adjustment/tightening (it is velcro’d to the ROP), with minimal “slop” in its adjustment.

I’m a Maintenance Mechanic and this one of my favorite tools. This is my second one…I lost my first one. Very well made and opens up to accept large bolts/nuts. I’d give it five stars but it’s made in Spain instead of locally. Understandably…making it affordable as well.

Pros:The wrench adjusts wider than a regular adj wrench the same size. The handle is good grip and not too long. It feels more solid than other wrenches. The thumb screw and carriage doesn’t stick like some others. Fits in my tool bag nicely. I use it working on gas analyzer fittings, plumbing and conduit fittings sometimes.Cons:When it is adjusted to a small size the carriage sticks out the end. It will fit small fittings but doesn’t have the room to turn as a small open ended normal wrench if there are other things in the way.It is worth it to not carry around a big heavy wrench that opens to the sizes this does.

I delayed buying this wrench for several months because I thought the price was high and since it was only available online, I couldn’t put my hands on it. I’ve found it is worth the higher price and will probably get another one. I’ve been able to use this wrench in tight places that my 6″ wouldn’t work and the jaws open wider than my 12″. The cushioned grip is easy on my arthritic hands. The jaw adjustment is great. I set it and it comes off and goes back on a nut or bolt without the readjusting I’ve had to do with other wrenches. This tool replaced two in my tool bag thereby avoiding some extra weight.

As a professional handyman I reach for some tools over and over because they work right all the time. This is one of those tools. The jaws open wide enough for many oversized plumbing fixtures and the handle is short to not interfere. The handle also has a nice thick and comfortable overgrip too. Sometimes I do need to get a larger wrench, but not that often.

I’m a DIY homeowners and have found that this is the second favorite tool I own (after my wratcheting screw-driver). I always thought adjustable wrenches were kind of lame, but it’s probably because most of them are no good. This tool, on the other hand, is fantastic. It has a very wide jaw without being too large or heavy. Most importantly though, the adjustment mechamism is very tight and accurate will almost no play. This is what I hate about other adjustable wrenches that makes them so unusable. This thing is great though.

It has a thinner profile allowing access to tight areas, while at the same time has a wider opening, over 1 1/2″ to fit large size nut or bolt heads. It is surprisingly strong and has very little slop. I often us it to hold large bolts once they are broke loose, or even to loosen large bolts that are not extremely tight.

The wrench is great because of the width it can open. You can handle many tasks with one wrench that you would need 3 different sizes to be able to do. I love it! The handle is very cushiony which is good and bad because sometimes you need it to be sturdy when you are using torque
