I strip wires every day on the job and have tried several brands. So far, the Channellocks are the best I’ve owned…strippers cut insulation cleanly and have remained like new well over a year into ownership…

I have 6 of these, although a bit earlier version, prior to the co-ax crimp being added: One in each vehicle, one in each ranch trailer, one in my work bench and one in my tool bag. Moderate/intermittant use for most, never have worn one out, yet. Frequent use for the one in my work bench. Sized strippers reduce the chance of cutting through a wire, when stripping. Cutter and long nose jaws are durable. Screw cutters are good, except for hardened screws. Great crimper for insulated ring tongue terminals and insulated butt splices.

I ALWAYS TRY TO BUY CHANNEL LOCK OR KLEIN TOOLS AND THE HUSKY TOOLS THAT ARE AMERICAN MADE. THEY JUST FEEL AND WORK BETTER AND USUALLY ARE COMPARABLY PRICED. THESE WIRE STRIPPERS ARE STURDIER THAT THE OTHERS, PLUS THEY HAVE A CRIMPPER SO YOU CAN CRIMP YOUR GROUNDS WITH THE SAME TOOL YOU’RE STRIPPING WITH.
