This snap ring pliers were able to spread far enough apart to put the ring over the shaft and into the groove. The Harbor Freight pliers could not do that. I was working on a 2013 Honda Fit AC clutch.

They worked good. A lot better then the ones that you need to change the tip on. Got the job done.

Trying to remove grip ring on a Honda lawn mower drive axle. The tips would not stay in the holes. It took me an hour and more than a few choice words to get both rings off. I gave this three stars because I don’t know if the fault lays with the plier tips, the grip rings, or both. Given a choice, go with a different pair of pliers.

Worked as advertised

Works as expected

Very heavy duty and works as it should. I have a different brand of snap-ring pliers that were proving inferior to a snap-ring I needed to remove. I purchased these and in a single attempt was able to defeat an otherwise impossible snap-ring.

No complaints with the tool. Menard’s sold the exact same thing for over $6 less. Had to go back in to Home Depot but they did agree to a price match and I believe actually undercut Menard’s price by a $1.

Made My project go so much better

Exactly what I needed for a detailed project to repair some hose fittings being retained by a C clip.

Overall this worked however the thickness and blockiness of the pliers makes this difficult to work with snap rings in recesses deeper than about one inch

The store service rep knew what I was talking about and took me directly to it, along with helpful hints as to how to use it.
