Tool worked as expected to remove and replace spring washers in a Maytag cloths dryer. The quick-change lever makes the retaining ring pliers easily reversible, even in tight work spaces.

Snap ring piers aren’t needed often, but they’re indispensable when you do need them. I bought these so I could change the head on my Ego string trimmer, which uses a snap ring to hold part of the head together. The pliers functioned as needed and were fairly easy to use.

It did exactly what I needed it to do and I’m very happy with the results, this tool will remain in my primary use list for the future.

The product worked well and handled my project well.

It was not cheap but it is excellent quality. It holds the ring firmly to control removing/installing the retaining ring. I purchased a cheap one, 3rd the price of this, from another store but did not like the way it functioned. The nose mechanism would wobble when you grab the ring.
June Prohaska (verified owner) –
Easy ratcheting mechanism to change directional action. The only improvement would be make the tip change topless.

While working on my Harley I needed to remove two snap rings and mine would not fit . Off to Home Depot I go since it’s close to me and they have tools . Lucky for me I was shown this pair , with the changeable tips perfect for what I needed.

Works well but way too expensive at $30. Unfortunately most of these wrenches are cheaply made and didn’t hold up when I tried to remove a snap ring holding a wheel on my John Deere garden tractor.
