I bought this 3′ rolling mount for when a customer has their conference room meetings. The mount is really sturdy and rolls nicely. However, It was just a little too tall when sitting right in front of a crowd that is sitting in chairs. It just blocks their view just a little to see the full projector screen. I am going to purchase the 2′ mount. I think it will do the trick. The customer is keeping the 3′ roll around for Skype or other video conferencing throughout the offices in the building. I also purchased the optional pivoting mount. However, the stand comes with a pivoting mount, but it was unclear as to what the default one did. The one that comes with the mount pivots nicely up and down. The optional (special order and non refundable) mounting head will also pivit side to side, but will not give you as much travel up and down as the default head that comes with the mount. I did not need the optional mounting head.
