I received this as a gift and I LOVE IT! I would definitely buy it again for myself or a gift. The straining lid securely locks so I feel totally comfortable dumping it over the sink to drain. Easy peasy! It is dishwasher safe too. We have steamed veggies, made macaroni, etc. All have cleaned easily. I use this straining saucepan almost daily.

Great pot from a great company. We needed a new one and this have surpassed the old one buy 100%. This has become our go to pot for pasta and chili. In the short time we have had it we don’t know how we got buy with out it. It seems like every meal we have made lately we have used it. It is very well made and I can see us having it for many years. Much better than those pots you get at W@L.

Simply the best non stick cook wear I have ever owned. My family loves this pan. It cleans up so easily I don’t gripe when its my turn to do the dishes. The lid is built rock solid and fits the pan snug. The pan is a great balance of heavy duty and light enough to move. The pans handles are also very sturdy even with the pan full. I would upgrade to this pan in a heart beat.

I received this product as a gift and I LOVE IT! I use it almost daily. I have steamed veggies, made mac-n-cheese, anything that usually requires a strainer. This has a locking lid that makes me feel totally comfortable dumping the excess liquid in the sink. It is also super easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. I would buy this again for myself or as a gift.

Circulon makes great cookware and this casserole does not disappoint. I have a semi-professional stove and I have to be careful with the types of pans I get or I end up melting the handles. This pot is great for pasta, grains, veggies, and other food where you can let steam escape. This is because the straining holes on the lid do not close. This means that you can boil pasta and strain the pasta when finished without a colander because the lid locks in place. You can also observe your food without opening the lid because it is partially glass. You can always fit another lid if needed. It is non-stick which makes searing and then cleanup easy. You can use metal utensils and it is dishwasher safe. But I always use wood and hand wash. It also comes with a lifetime warranty if used correctly.

The bottom of this casserole tarnished immediately over 8/10 on a 3600w halogen burner, and it’s darkened with each subsequent use — and the concentric “super-dooper-nonstick” circles bossed in the bottom of the cooking surface do nothing but catch non-stuck particles — you get to chase them in circles with your scotch pad under full running 2.5g/m water until they feel sorry for you and drop away. But otherwise, this is a steal. It heats up much, much faster than you’ll expect even after reading this review, and seared a hamburger again on 8/10 in a minute. I haven’t used this on an induction plate yet; I’m not sure what the concentric bossed circles in the bottom surface do with induction (concentric circles on both sides of the bottom) but this won’t slow down a quick boil, and while some hot water will leak from the edge of the lid when pouring, it’s leaking right in line with where water is pouring from the holes anyway. It’s got a relatively thin steel lip in the lid — it’s more than sturdy enough, but it’s a shame to have to see thin metal on an otherwise apparently solid piece of cookware.

It’s a great mid sized pot. Also, it’s hard to find a decent strainer lid & pot that aren’t the cheaper materials.

High quality casserole that is oven safe to 400 degrees and dishwasher safe. The nonstick surface has raised circles that are resistant to scratches and chips. The cover has a see through lid with draining holes for pastas, vegetables, etc. It can be locked into place so that it is safe to turn over. The silicone handles are comfortable. It is also easy to clean. It is the perfect size for my use and Circulon has made another great product.

I’ve used this pan a couple of times on a gas range since receiving it and so far I like it and it does what it claims to be able to do, namely keeping your food from sticking and having a locking lid. This is a casserole pan/pot, so it’s best for making stews, cooking pasta (smaller amounts, this is a 4-quart pot and most 16 oz bags or boxes of pasta need to be cooked in at least 8 quarts of water), as well as cooking veggies. The locking lid with drainage holes is great if you need to pour off/out any liquids. The lid stays in place while tilting the pan to drain any liquid. The drainage holes are located on either side of the lid’s handle. Those same holes are also great if you’re cooking something where some of the liquid needs to evaporate or steam needs to escape. The pan’s handles as well as the handle on the lid do not seem to get hot while cooking, although I still suggest using mitts when using the handles to lift up the pan or take off the lid. The pan has been very easy to clean after cooking, just a soft dish brush and some dish soap has been all that’s needed to get it squeaky clean and new looking again. This appears to be a well-made casserole pan, which I hope will give me years or cooking pleasure with appropriate care taken.
