This is a very nice assortment of non stick pots and skillets with lids and cooking utensils. Would be a nice starter set for newlyweds or housewarming gift. The thick aluminum magnetic shield bottom is attractive and sits evenly on my smooth induction cook top stove. However, though the description states this set is compatible with induction cook tops, my induction cook top will not recognize any of the pots or skillets, so I will unable to use them on my current stove, hence the four star instead of five.. They arrived promptly and were packaged very well to avoid damage.

This Classic Cuisine nonstick cookware set with aluminum shield is good starter set for amateur cooks and college students. The set comes with a 3 Qt casserole, 2 Qt sauce pan, 1.25 Qt sauce pan, 9.5 in cooker and deep frying pan, 8.5 in and 7 in frying pans all with lids. As a bonus five plastic utensils are included with the set (spatula, slotted spoon, closed spoon. ladle, and pasta server). In my experience cookware made in China tends to have several flaws immediately or over time, such as burning and tarnishing, flaking from dishwasher use, handles coming loose, in inaccurate heat displacement and lid issues. However, under a direct flame heat displacement test the temperature was fairly even at the base of the three pieces of cookware tested. I tested the small frying pan with 1 TBS vegetable oil and let it go at high heat. The oil burnt off and didn’t effect the pan at all. I also, tested the small pot with 1 cup of water and allowed it burn off as well. There was a calcium stain left in the pot which cleaned off easly with soap and water and a dobie pad. The lids have a steam release hole which works great! I tested the 3 quart pot and 9 inch pan in dishwasher on a regular wash cycle with heat dry and nothing happened to the either one. However, even with these tests I’m still leery that the handles will come loose because of the handle being mounted by screw. The manufacturer backs this product with a short 30-day warranty.

We have been using this 15 piece aluminum shield nonstick cookware set with lids now for some time and it has served our needs in the kitchen very well. They heat everything evenly and I like the vented lids. They clean up quickly and easily. There are several different useful sizes but does not include a big Dutch oven style. They are a easier and lighter weight to work with, which makes it great.

I just love this cookware set. They are made out of aluminum, dishwasher safe and have nice thick easy grip handles. There are hefty rivets that hold the handles to the body of the pots and pans. Nice non-stick coating. The pieces are compatible with gas, electric, glass and induction cook tops. The lids also have a vent hole. Included in this set is a 3 quart casserole pan with lid, 2 quart sauce pan with lid, 1.24 quart sauce pan with lid and a 9.5″ deep frying pan with lid. There are 2 sizes of frying pans – a 8.5″ frying pan and a 7″ frying pan. These pieces are light weight but good quality. This set also comes with utensils which is a nice bonus. Would make a nice gift.

Classic Cuisine 15 piece Nonstick Alumi-Shield Cookware. (Black) This is beautiful, well crafted nonstick cook ware that is a complete set with induction ready bottoms. I don’t have induction so couldn’t check that out, but love this complete set including plastic cook spoons (2), spatula, pasta, and ladle. It comes with matching tempered glass lids that fit the different sizes of 3 sauce pans and 3 skillets. I love the feel of the handles and lid tops, as they are solid gripping material that is very secure in the hand. I would have gone 5 stars, however the size of the smallest sauce pan and skillet are too small for my tastes. You can’t go wrong with this set.

This is a nice starter set for any person who needs cooking equipment. It is made out of aluminum and you get one large pot, one large sauce pot with a handle and two smaller variations of a sauce/stew/soup pots with handles. All come with lids. In the package, you also get two smaller frying pans and all sorts of spatulas, ladles and spoons. It even comes with a spaghetti noodle spoon! This set is very light weight!While I would never pay this price for the utensils alone, those are the selling point to this packaged set. They are all durable cooking grade rubber/plastic. They will not scratch the surface of the pans — which while coated nicely as new are still aluminum with a top coat of non stick sealer. I say that, because there is only a 30 day warranty on the items. That is a good indicator that you will know if your set is good or not, and likely upon use. Another nice feature is the little vent hole in the lids. It helps prevent spillage from boiled and heavy simmering. They are dishwasher safe, but I would not recommend that with the non-stick surface coating. If you have heavy stains, just let the pot sit with warm water and dish soap. Then come back to it. Let the non-stick coating do its job. The food will lift on its own and you can wipe it down with a sponge. I can totally see this set used in an RV or out camping. If they get banged up, it won’t matter. They are good to cook with.

There are several things that set this cookware set apart form others. First, the extra thick pot and pan bottoms are well designed to really distribute heat evenly. Next, the handles are contoured to feel very comfortable in my hand,and are heat resistant. Additionally, the well thought out easy to clean cookware size selection, with a vented holes in each glass lid, gives me flexibility in portion size of recipes.There’s one of each size I normally use. We have a glass top electric stove so weight was also an issue. Heavy cookware can easily damage the glass tops. These are both sturdy, secure to handle, and a very comfortable weight.. Being microwave and dishwasher safe are nice additional features and the included utensils are just a bonus. I am impressed enough with this set that I will be giving one to my new daughter-in-law as a wedding gift.

Nice starter set of cookware for our daughter. The pans are lightweight and heats fast and cools down fast. The nonstick is very good, but avoid metal utensils due to scratching. We like the clear glass lids so you can see food cooking. No problem with putting them in the dishwasher, so far. A good basic starter set, and if that’s what your looking for you will be satisfied.

This 15-piece non-stick pots and pan set would make a great starter kit, wedding gift, or house warming gift. The pots and pans are light-weight and extra easy to use. The handles are made of molded plastic and provide for a firm, nonslip grip that is heat resistant. The bottoms of the pots and pans are induction ready, meaning they can be used on induction stove tops. The set is made of aluminum and feature a nonstick coating. I fried some eggs with one of the pans and they slid right out of the pan. My daughter made some pancakes in the 8.5″ frying pan and they cooked quite evenly, meaning the pan exhibited good, even heat across the bottom.The set is both microwave and dishwasher safe. The lids are made of quality glass and do not leak. I boiled some water in one of the pots with a lid on and no water escaped from the lid.The set includes: a 1-1/4 quart sauce pan with lid; a 2 quarter sauce pan with lid, a 3 quart casserole pot with lid, a 7″ frying pan, an 8-1/2″ frying pan, and a 9-1/2″ cooker/deep frying pan with lid.Additionally, the set includes a spatula, spoon, ladle, pasta server, and spoon with slots in it. The utensils, while functional, is somewhat flimsy. However, most people purchase pots and pans for the pots and pans, not the utensils, so including these rounds out the set for someone just starting out with a new home.All in all, this is a nice cookware set.

This is a very nice cookware set. There are four different size pots, two frying pans and four lids that fit both the pot and pan sizes. The pots and pans are made of aluminum-shield metal with a non-stick inner coating. The bottoms are thick and distribute heat evenly. They have rubber coated handles for easy handling. The lids are glass with an air vent hole and have a rubber coated grip knob. The set includes 5 plastic utensils. I have used this set with no sticking problems and they cleaned nicely in the dishwasher. This set can be a good starter set or an addition to any kitchen.
