An amazing machine

Super machine, just what we wanted. Recipe booklet was humorously mistranslated and did not include plain vanilla, but there are so many recipe sources that they really didn’t even need to provide it in the first place! We bought a second one as a gift.

I am delighted with the quality of the ice cream I get. I do find it difficult to release the battery from the unit to clean the top portion, however, everything else about this exceeds my expectations.

I have made two quarts of ice cream with this freezer every week for the past three weeks. The machine is convenient, quiet, and well-made. Homemade ice cream requires a little planning ahead, but the freezing part takes less then 20 minutes when the bowl is properly chilled.

This delightful little appliance does exactly as advertised – makes a quart of very good ice cream in about thirty minutes. Simple to use . . easy clean up. A limited amount of recipes come with it, but an unlimited amount are available free on line. .

The ice cream maker is working very well. I’m giving the product 4 stars, as I was hoping the motor would be a bit stronger. I have found that the ice cream or sorbet isn’t ready until about 20-30 mins of run time, even though the directions stated it would be ready in half that time. But it works great and it is just enough ice cream for a small batch. It is easy to clean up and the canister doesn’t take up a lot of space to refreeze in the freezer. I am glad that I purchased it!

This machine makes a quart of ice cream quickly and easily with the included recipes. It doesn’t quite equal the results you can get with an old-fashioned electric type that requires ice and salt, but it is much easier to use, and you get a finished product much more quickly.

This is more compact than the old cuisinart one we used to have (that motor burned out), so it stores more easily. I think the ice cream is fluffier, too, – I get nearly a quart of ice cream for every pint of liquid recipe I add. I *really* like the “pour in through the hole once the blade is spinning” design feature. It is very much soft serve when it is “done”. For me, it takes about 50 minutes and then I dish out what’s being eaten right away and pop the rest into a container and into the freezer immediately. It’s definitely harder ice cream the next day. This works fine for family gatherings but for a kids party or for putting in cones, I’d definitely make it ahead and freeze it the final step over night. The soft serve will melt too fast. Overall: I can use my own organic ingredients and serve my kids high quality ice cream without any weird ingredients and for a fraction of the cost of the good stuff from the stores.

This is a great little machine! We have used it several times since receiving it. It takes about 30-40 minutes to make homemade ice cream. We keep the canister in the freezer so that it is always ready when we want to make ice cream. Easy to clean!

Nice little machine, bucket fits readily in the freezer, easy to disassemble for cleaning and storage. I wish that someone somewhere would create a timer or a trigger that would stop the motor when ice cream is frozen stiff — when motor keeps going beyond that point, it creates the extra wear and tear that killed off our previous ice cream maker. Gotta keep a close eye on it as it thickens.

I have used this for several weeks now to make dairy free ice cream with some recipes I found online. It takes about 15 minutes and turns out great every time. I like being able to make small enough batches that it servers enough for 4 people to have a couple of scoops each or a little bit left over. Seems to be well made with a stainless finish inside the bowl and takes little effort to clean. I do have to scoop the ice cream out immediately into a separate container or it tends to harden quickly if left in the maker for any longer than a few minutes.
