Description

This High Speed Steel Heavy-Duty Jobber Length Drill features drills with right-hand direction of cut and was designed for drilling metal, wood and plastic. The drills were precision ground to tight tolerances with geometries that include a 135° split point to eliminate walking of the drills on the work-pieces and 3 flats on the shanks of drills above 11 in./64 in. for tighter chucking. This premium high speed steel drill set also has nitride black and gold treatment for increased hardness and tool longevity.

118° split point eliminates walking and drills on contact along with requiring less force to push it also drills faster than a conventional pointed drill

I purchased the CLE-LINE HSS Deming Drill Bit after attempting to use another HSS bit to drill through hardened steel. This bit was able to drill through material others could not. I would characterize this bit as a superior bit, drilling fast, within minimum tolerances, while maintaining it’s sharpness, and the HD price was very competitive.
