The HL7 Headlamp gives you the ability to shine an ultra-wide flood beam and then quickly twist the bezel to a long reaching spot beam with transition halo so that you can be ready for anything. With our Variable Light Control Technology onboard you have the ability to adjust the light output with the control lever to any point between the lowest low and the highest high so you can have highly personalized output and runtimes. With Coasts commitment to quality, the HL7 Headlamp is impact resistant, weather resistant and its LED is virtually unbreakable. The HL7 Headlamp is backed by Coasts lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.

I use this light every night and have every night for the last few years. I work aircraft maintenance and find the ability to change the brightness and beam width really helpful. If I’m in a small confined space trying to see something an inch from my head or changing a tire I’ve got the light I need to see what I’m doing. These lights also take abuse from being thrown around stuff in tool boxes. Out in the rain or snow or -30 degree temps this things never let me down. Best part is the company knows then put out a quality product and they stand by it!!

The hinge could be made a little stronger but with coast warranty and customer service it was no big deal to get a replacement and this head light is very bright for it’s size. The focus and brightness of this light is great. I work on cars and this light has been very durable for me.

I have owned this light for 4 years. The only issue I have seen with it is that over the years, the adjustable light output seems to flicker. Sometimes I have to press on the battery box in order for the light to show full brightness. New batteries are installed and it still does this. Granted it is 4 years old, it is still a great light and i still use it despite the issues I have had with the light output. The on/off switch is great and the twist beam focus is very nice.
