Featuring our Inspection beam pattern, the G19 casts a nearly perfect circle of smooth and consistent light. At just 4 in. in length, it can be carried almost anywhere and has an impressive 54 lumen output, making it a useful tool for a variety of situations. Built tough, an impact-resistant, lightweight aluminum casing resists rust and corrosion. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards, the G19 also features an unbreakable LED and rubberized O-ring for reliable water resistance and durability. I’ve been using a Coast G20 at work for 1 1/2 yrs now and changed the batteries once. The G20 is longer than the G19 but the G19 is slightly brighter with only 1 AAA compared to 2 AAA for the G20. The G20 is pocket or pen length so it fits in a shirt pocket as a pen would… i don’t carry the G19 in a shirt pocket so i can’t say how it would act but would be lighter but would maybe move around more. Both the G19 and G20 have “Inspection Beams” meaning they cast a smaller or tighter circle of light of a fairly consistant brightness….. no rings of light like a Mini MagLite… basically a light disc of about the same brightness throughout. Also MUCH Brighter than a Mini Maglite. I work in a coil coating plant… painting coils of steel or aluminum and both the G19 and G20 are GREAT for what i need them for. Some lights can be TOO Bright… shine them in a tight dark spot or on a reflective material and you are blinded by the the reflection… these lights are bright but not blinding bright and make the mini Maglite seem like you lit a match to see what you are looking at. Buy this light, you won’t regret it and the price is GREAT. I bought a G20 and guys at work wanted one…. i ended up buying and selling at cost a total of 19 G20’s Homedepot doesn’t seem to have the G20’s now but the G19’s are shorter and brighter for the same price i paid for the G20’s.

I bought this light in 2015, used it on a deployment in 2016 where I was stuck in the rain basically every day. It started to flicker on me 3 months in to using it intermittently and eventually died. I can’t get this open to replace the battery to save my life.

Absolutely love the light this puts out. Perfect tight focused beam. Wish they offered this beam pattern in higher output lights. This light is good up to about 30′, not intended for long distance but a beast within your working circle.

I recently purchased two of the coast g-19 flashlights. I tested them out at home (covid-19 restrictions) and a couple things came to mind. they have a clear, bright cone of light out to about 25 feet…the on off button on he rear of the case is soft rubber and easy to use. it has a very robust clip to either clip to your pants pocket, shirt pocket or to a baseball style cap visor, however the clip could be longer. the flashlight casing is solid. If there is a negative, it’s that there is only one function…on or off. IMO a strobe function for emergencies would be awesome. I would Purchase again!

I bought the Costal G20 but misplaced it. I bought this as a replacement. This light is half the size and even brighter. The entire Costal line seems to provide high quality at competitive prices. This is a great light for glovebox, tool box or garage. Very bright and excellent battery life.
