The HP8R is the perfect long-lasting, high powered flashlight for any work environment. Equipped with our Pure Beam Focusing Optic with Slide Focus, users can shift between a super wide flood beam or spot mode with transition halo at varying distances and brightness all controllable with 1-hand. The Beam Lock System also ensures that users keep the beam in place while they work without risk of losing the perfect lighting. With our Flex Charge Dual Power system, this light harnesses either lithium or alkaline power and using a micro USB. A USB insert on the battery and tail cap allows for the recharging of the batteries either inside or outside of the light. With Coasts commitment to quality, the HP8R Flashlight is impact resistant, weather resistant and its LED is virtually unbreakable. The HP8R Flashlight is backed by Coasts lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.

do you sell tail caps for the HP8R. The contacts on the inside of tail cap that come into contact with battery has broken.

Product is good but not a fan of the rechargeable batteries. I spend too much time messing with them. I would not buy this product again. The light is ok and now has just become a toy for my son. If you need a flashlight go another direction

I ordered this flashlight for outdoor use. It is very bright and can really focus on different points well. The lithium battery is great, and I like that it came with an option for disposable battery backup in a battery adapter. It is solid and not too small or big. I ordered it for its reasonable size, long beam distance, and Coasts lifetime warranty (aka reliability). I will only order Coast flashlights in the future after this purchase (if needed really)

This is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. The craftmanship is great and the quality is well. The power lasts all day and then some. Very easy to charge with the micro usb cable. You can adjust the beam wide to narrow with ease. It also locks the beam in place so if your working you dont lose the focus. It is also backed with a lifetime warranty.
