The stainless steel blade is full tang meaning it extends the full length and wide of the machete for added strength. The blade also features a saw while the handle has a hand guard to keep the blade from slipping out of your hand when sawing. A nylon sheath is included and has a belt loop for wear ability with a metal clasp for a secure hold. Only reason I gave it 4 vs. 5 is that it’s actually too light for my preference. Ironically one of the reasons I chose this one was due to the fact that it was light, however I could use a little more weight to provide more force when cutting small branches, vegetation, etc. The energy I save in swinging it is made up by having to use more power to cut through things. Still solid overall, just would choose a heavier one next time.

few key points I like on the machete are the full tang which gives great support when cutting. the hand gard gives it a secure grip so when im hacking away I don’t have to worry about my hand slipping on the blade. Final detail I like actually has to do with the sheath I am happy that they didnt cheap out on the clasp and used metal. The look is clean looking and feels good in the hand.

This machete is great for camping. I go camping often and so I need a versatile tool to help me get through the time that I was out there. This machete is sharp, and cuts very well. The other side has a saw blade that can be used as well, which is very useful. The belt loop is convenient and makes it easy to carry around too.

It’s ok for the job i need it for. The blade is pretty sharp, but I don’t expect the steel to hold its edge as it’s not US or German steel.

This is a pretty sweet machete. It seems pretty durable as the blade metal is the full length, and the handle is just a cover over the metal. The handle and knuckle guard are made of plastic, this is the only thing which could potentially break. I hope it lasts, but there is a lifetime warranty on this thing. I like the serrated edge on the top too. It just looks intimidating. It’s got a nice weight and feel and It is the only machete I will ever need.
