The FL75 Headlamp combines many modern Coast beam features into 1 front-loaded headlamp. The first button on the headlamp gives you the ability to shine an ultra-wide flood beam and then quickly twist the bezel to a long reaching spot beam with transition halo. The second button on the headlamp enables the user to switch quickly to a fixed red LED light to preserve night vision. Built with an IPX4 weatherproof rating and equipped with a reflective safety strap, this light is ready for any environment. With Coasts commitment to quality, the FL75 Headlamp is impact resistant, weather resistant and its LED is virtually unbreakable. The FL75 Headlamp is backed by Coasts lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.

I have had other types of “head lights” over the years that were okay, but this unit is the best by far. The headband fits snugly and stays put. The three light setting provide excellent illumination as needed, and the only minor issue I have is the switch is somewhat hard to press.Well worth the money. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the need.

Very bright. Twist focus is nice to adjust the beam width. On/off buttons difficult to operate with gloves on. Seems like cheap plastic, so not sure about durability.

The first one purchased was the Red on with lower lumens(400), but returned it because the batteries were corroded. The second one was/is orange, with greater lumens (435) but was over $10 cheaper. It was for my wife for walking at night during standard daylight time. Couldn’t figure why the one was cheaper. The orange color versus red? Oh well.
