The FL13 is a compact C.O.B. LED headlamp. The C.O.B features a High and Low light outputs. This headlamp casts a wide beam and is handy for up-close work. Also, the FL13 includes a solid and flashing red LED light feature. The red LED light beam help to prevent night blindness. It consumes battery a lot heavy duty no doubt solution buy some rechargeable batteries i like to have a frontal light with more than button if you have many option light why ? Because every time to turn it of you have to push 2 or 3 times the button same thing to turn it on

This device is a must for everyone! The headlamp is lightweight and comes with a stretchy, adjustable headband as well as belt clips. It offers four different light patterns and intensities – a very bright wide beam white that can illuminate the darkest corners, low beam white that would be suitable for navigating the average home during a power outage, red for night vision, and a red strobe that could be used to keep oncoming traffic away from a jogger or dog walker after dark. I tested the high beam in the alcove that holds my gas water heater. Relighting the pilot had always entailed positioning a trouble light so that the stem of the gas outlet wasn’t in shadow, then pressing the gas valve with one hand while lighting the pilot with the other hand. It was awkward, to say the least. Laying in the same position while wearing the headlamp focused the light directly on the pilot stem, and because the device is hands-free, I could relight the pilot easily.There are so many instances in which this headlamp would be useful; working in hard to light areas such as under the sink, during power outages, walking after dark, even digging fishing worms before daybreak. This is a gadget that has a lot of value.

The FL 13 Lumen LED head lamp with red light mode is a welcome addition to my home. This light offers a very bright LED light and can light up the whole room or anything I am working on. The headlamp lets me work with both hands free and no need to hold a flashlight. The light brightness can also be dimmed down to save battery power. It also has 2 red light modes which can be useful if stranded on the road at night or to bring attention and alert someone if needed. It is also great if you have a power outage and need light to move around. This lamp is also weather proof. Glad I found this headlamp.

Very bright light. I have however noticed that the batteries get extremely warm when using the light on high. Don’t know yet if that will shorten the battery life or not.

Powerful beam too bad it doesn’t strobe however the red light does. It eats batteries fast. Went through 2 sets of Duracell alkaline batteries at work by 11 AM at work.
