Considering the price, I was skeptical that this piece of gear could deliver full 1080i over such a long distance but it works flawlessly! I have used it with both 100′ and 150′ runs of CAT-5e and the image quality was absolutely perfect! I have even paired it with a VGA to HDMI converter at the receiving end for use with newer monitors that don’t have VGA inputs and it never skipped a beat! 🙂 I would highly recommend this product to my video colleagues 🙂

We used this in a huge concert hall that didn’t have vga connection from the stage to the projector, we thankfully found a network connection right behind the stage and tech patched it to the network connection up in the projector room over approximately 250+ feet of wiring. Thankfully it worked flawlessly with no quality loss. It was very simple to use and we were up and running in less than five minutes.

We had an extender priced 3 times as much in the curcuit just to extend Video down to our monitor. Then We were unable to obtain a replacement for the unit and looked for another alternitive. The CVE-TRX01 is now in the curcit and working great. In fact after the first of the year we plan on obtaining more to start replacing the more expensive units already installed.

Used these units in displaying 1280 x 1024 at a length of 200 feet to a connecting projector. Very good video quality and signal.

Field tested this thing right out of the box for 40 hrs with a 75′ Cat5 – worked perfectly.

We use this extender to run a projector in our church. We previously used a Snap AV Binary extender that we paid $$for. The Snap AV extender went out after only 2 years. We tried this Comprehensive extender and it works better than the more expensive one. It gives a crisp picture, even running a 75 foot cat 5 cable.

I had a project to extend video from VGA 300+ foot. This worked great!!! I would recommend it for anyone running A/V over VGA for any long distance.
