In my case the adapter did not fit because the plastic around it makes it very big and you are not able to connect any other wires to ports next to it. Its good if you don’t need to use other ports next to it.

It was the worst tech purchase I made in a while. Reliability was key, and I even got a spare one. Each one of the adapters broke. I know. Really weird, but it happened. I have done a/v work for the last 10 years, this is not user error. The VGA port gets pushed into its nest very easily, without much pressure, which renders the adapter useless, since the connections can’t be made securely as soon as that happens. Really bad design.
