The Cooks Standard 7 Qt. Stainless Steel Dutch Oven with Lid is made with stainless steel with an aluminum disc layered in the bottom. The aluminum disc provides even heat distribution and prevents hot spots. Tempered glass lid makes viewing food easy from start to finish. Handles are attached to the cookware with 2 rivets that offers durability. Cookware is suitable with gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction stoves. Oven safe to 500°F, glass lid is oven safe 350°F. Dishwasher safe.

I love love love stainless steel and needed a pot that wasn’t oversized but big enough for what I like to cook. My sole purpose of this pot was to be able to make dishes that require a roux (gravy for the out-of-towners) for my smothered dishes and gumbo. It did not disappoint. Easy to clean and is a great weight that isn’t too heavy.
