I just received my crescent brand 6” inch and 10” pack. First off the weight and feel of these tools in your hands is quality. The machining and finish is flawless. The attention to detail like the laser etched scale on the jaw to the serrations also in the jaw. You don’t get that in a regular adjustable wrench. We all call adjustable wrenches “Crescent Wrenches “ because they are the original. Everyone else is a lesser copy. Crescent brand Is still the best and this set has a lifetime warranty.

These two Cresent wrenches are fantastic. First Cresent is the name of the company the wrenches were named for. The 6 and 10 inch seem to be the favorite two sizes for most users. Both of these wrenches however have extra wide jaws, which let them handle larger nuts or bolts but not be so long tht they get in the way. You can see by the picture still in the package just how wide they appear. Also check the serrated jaws which grip, and the marked slide jaw for deternining the proper size.

Superior wrench set, gets the job done better. I used the smaller wrench in this set to remove a machine-applied nut on the bottom of a lamp, a job that I have tried previously without success with lesser wrenches. The micro-serrations on the jaws of these wrenches give them the grip needed for success. Everything about the was these were designed and manufactured is of the highest quality, made to last.

The crescent wrenches work alright. I looked through all of your tools and could not find any wrenches like this that were Made In America. I always look for Made In America products and was disappointed your company did not have any. I would have looked somewhere else but I was in the middle of a home project and our water was turned off.

Only been using it for a couple of weeks, but I carry the 6 inch in my pocket all night at work an use if regularly and works well an stays adjusted when in uses. Only used 10 inch once maybe twice, but both seem to be well built.

These adjustable wrenches are promoted as “next level strength” and I would have to agree. I have several adjustable wrenches – some are even Crescent brand, but these are a step above. For starters, they are heavyweight with a black lacquer finish. I really like the extra wide jaw opening – 1 1/8″ on the 6″ and 1 1/2″ on the 10″ wrench. The jaws have serrations which help with gripping. The knurl is larger and more heavy duty so it will not let the jaws slip or bind. I really like these wrenches !

These are some hefty Crescent wrenches. I am very pleased with this set of two wrenches. The best thing about them is that they are each adjustable to 1 1/2 ” wide. The second best thing is that they are made by Crescent. I have a set of four different wrenches on my tool board and love them. The only problem is that I have to guess how wide they open. Like what size is good for water hose fittings. Not with these. They go from zero to 1 1/2 in a second. They are hefty and have serrated jaws. No more slipping. The only wish I have is that the handles were a little longer. When trying to unbolt a trailer hitch, I couldn’t get enough leverage. (I know that is not what they are designed for but I had to try.) Another plus, is that they are easier to carry around. If you are looking for a super strong crescent wrench that will last you a lifetime, these are for you. They will be an excellent addition to your tool collection. The Home Depot does it again.
