Makes the job of demo and nail removal so much easier. The adjustable angle just cuts the effort required, and that is worth every penny of the cost.

I’m in the process of renovating a bedroom in my house and I had a few awkward nails leftover that I hadn’t removed from the previous trim. I usually just get out the vice grips and pull away. I probably used 4 different positions on this tool while removing nails and I removed each one with little effort! The tool itself seems good quality metal and I hope the mechanism is durable as well but only time will tell.

The 12-inch indexing head nailer puller Crescent Brand is easy, convenient and durable to use. I even had my 10 year old daughter helping me take apart a gate and some wood pallets. I’ve included a few photos. While the puller is in use, you can tell how well it’s designed and made of steel with the hammer head part can take a good beating. I had a bit of a struggle having to remove the pulled nail from the puller. It was well wedge in. Other than that it works great and has 14 different head lock positions for easy access.

Love this thing. It helped us demo in no time at all. The fact that you can change the angles makes it indispensable for just about everything. I have tossed away my other nail pullers and this is my go to now. My only complaint would be the adjuster mechanism as it is not really tight.

I tried this out on a few different nails and staples. It works fin on the nails that were holding the window trim on. I didn’t try it on the trim, just the nails that pulled through. I tried in on some carpet pad staples, not really expecting it to work. I was pleasantly surprised when it pulled them out without damaging the hardwood floor they were driven into. The adjustable handle helps you pull out nails in confined spaces. As long as you can find clearance at some angle, you can pull the nail. Adjusting the angle of the handle is easy – you just push the read painted circle on one side of the hinge. For those nails where it is hard to get under the head, there is also a hit point machined onto the back of the claw. I found it handy.About the only complaint I have is that there are no instructions. Having one of the drawings labeling the parts would be helpful. But I guess they figure that if you are going to remove nails, you should be able to find the red circle with its label.

I like that it’s adjustable for different angles while working. Makes it a lot easier to gain leverage on those stubborn nails. Could use a few more index points though. Overall a good buy !!!

This nail puller met my expectations. I prefer it to the shorter ones as this one has extra leverage. The push button allows me to move the handle and has a sturdy gear lock.

When my husband saw this, he pretty much jumped for joy. Although it would have been a lot nicer to get it sooner — he really needed this nail puller several months ago. It works great, is a good size and weight and is a great addition to his growing tool box. If you need to pull some nails, this is a really good tool to have in your arsenal to get the job done.

I had the opportunity to use a co-worker’s tool before ordering my own. It always worked great for pulling nails in hard to reach places or difficult angles. You simply push the button and angle the tool’s head to the needed position. This is a heavy duty tool and gives good leverage for pulling stubborn nails, I should have gotten it a long time ago.

I needed one for my construction jobs and i was a little surprised with how much weight it had however it did make me happy when it came to taking off the nails how strong and easy it was to do that. I will gladly be using this product when i have to do heavy constructing jobs. I had to break down a couple of walls that had a good share of nails and it did the job well.

This Indexing Nail Puller is made by Crescent Company that has been around for years. Some of the features that I liked about is is the adjustable head, it adjust in 14 different positions. To help in those hard to get areas and also helps you to give you more leverage with those different positions. It has a striking face that helps the claw get under the are beneath the surface using a hammer. With the contour handle is give is a more secure grip. .It’s all steel construction will give lifetime of performance. The head for pulling nails is Precision ground to help with less material damage the material that you are pulling the nail from. It made my job a lot easy getting the roofing nails out of the plywood and beams. It guaranteed forever from Crescent. It a must to have if you are doing any nail removal.

Works great! Would be better with a slightly larger diameter handle. I have really big hands and it was hard to get a comfortable grip. Works great at getting under nailheads that are close to the surface with out making too much of a crater. The adjustable angle is a big plus.

I recently helped a buddy tear his kitchen down to studs and used this tool to pull the copious amount of nails. What I really like about it is how you can adjust the head for different positions. This allows it to sneak into tight spaces the rear of a hammer cannot reach while giving you maximum leverage. When on studs or the floor, this product can be manipulated for easy nail puller. The indexing head is tough and didn’t break with several large nails in toe boards.
