It is a great tool. I used it to pull up some wood flooring and it worked perfectly because it allowed me enough leverage to pull up the tongue/groove floorboards and I was able to do it without hurting myself because of the heavy-duty rubber handle.

This has been an extremely useful tool when needed! Much better than a standard pry bar which can be limited under a number of different situations like angle, access to prying position, etc. I couldn’t be happier with this item and immediately bought another for my son.

The indexing pry bar is solid. It functioned well during a subfloor removal. Being able to change the angle of approach made it possible to use this tool for the entire job.

I had a project to tear down a garden fence/structure that was 8 feet tall. Went into HD to look at tools to help me. I am very happy with decision to purchase the Crescent pry bar. Mainly because it is adjustable and since I would be working on a ladder, it helped to adjust to different angles

I bought this indexing pry bar after reading reviews on Home Depot. I was looking for a tool to help with pressure treated deck demo. I was considering a more expensive pry bar but figured I’d try cheaper option first. This Crescent tool is awesome…one of the best hand tools I’ve ever purchased. It takes up deck boards with ease, even deck boards that have been screwed down. Granted my deck was about 18 years old so some of the deck boards were soft but I’m glad I bought this. Took some time to figure out how to make the indexing head work (there is a push button on the side of the indexing mechanism) but once I got the hang of it, you can change the claw position quickly and easily to gain the best leverage point. I would highly recommend this tool. Saves a ton of work and your back will than you.
