I love the size of this thing, it provides really great leverage when you need it. The striking point on the back of the claw is excellent and gives me a solid target to bash on. The adjustable head is a cool feature but I usually don’t stray much from the typical 90 degree position. I’ve also found over time the button to adjust the head can get a little tricky to push. It would probably benefit from a little lubrication on my part as it’s been exposed to lots of fine dust and grim at this point. My other gripe is that the “handle” gets really marred up over time. The plastic is high quality but just doesn’t stand up to concrete/brick if you’re prying on that side of the tool. Overall great addition to my demo tools and I would certainly recommend.

I’ve never had a pivoting-head crowbar, so why get one now? Let’s just say I began wondering why I didn’t have this sort of thing before. There are all sorts of uses you won’t envision until this is in your toolbox. Pivot 90 degrees to the prybar for a traditional prybar, and position at zero degrees (claw parallel to the prybar) for positioning machinery and tweaking framing. I still haven’t found all the uses.

I’ve been using the heck out of this tool ever since it came in the mail. As someone that is more often building new vs. demolishing existing structures, I sure have found a lot of use for this massive pry bar! The adjustable head is the most impressive aspect to this tool. The ability to adjust the angle of attack on something you are trying to pry out is so much more useful than you would ever imagine! And the 36” length means that you have the leverage to take down just about anything with very little effort. Suddenly, massive demolition projects take minutes to knock down with small, precise effort in strategic spots. This results in faster, easier and cleaner demo. Just an awesome tool!

I work with reclaimed wood often, and rip up several pallets in the process of salvaging wood. This tool seems to have been made to demo pallets. I can index the head in several positions, and even pound on it with the hammer to loosen the nails. (Why do they put so many nails in pallets?!?)Anyways… Great tool. I have used it a lot in the last couple of days, and it is holding up to the abuse. I was a little leery of the index point, because, as it usually goes – the more moving parts, the more likely to fail. This has not failed. If I can manage to break the thing in the coming weeks or months, I will update my review.

To be honest I thought the indexing pry bar was a silly idea, that was until I used it. I was helping a neighbor tear down his shed I thought for sure I’d beak it so I brought my other one. After a half day and finding other things to pry it still didn’t break. Definatly better then I thought.

I wish I had this when I was redoing the bathroom. This Crescent bar gets to so many more places than a standard bar. An example is there was a couple nails I couldn’t remove that were bugging me in the basement this bar got them out no problem. My house is over 100 years old in the main area so things are really stubborn at times. I like this tool it has already proved its worth.

This bar has some interesting changes from the standard pry bar. The claw end in adjustable. You can change the angle between the bar and the claw. This is great when working in tight places where a fixed claw would end up with the handle hitting. With this bar, you can change the angle so you have clearance. In really cramped courters, you can pry until the handle hits, adjust the claw, and pry some more.

The tool did what it was supposed to do, assist me in taking apart my dock boards. It works great.

This has to be the Cadillac of pry bars. Compared to our old well used pry bars, this pry bar is in a class by itself. It is lighter weight, has a padded hand grip, and the head rotates with just a push of a button. That is a stroke of genius. It is hard to imagine that an adjustable head can have as much strength as a rigid head but it does! It has a well thought out design and good looking finish.Cresent can be proud of this tool.

This pry bar is excellent and I love the adjustable feature. It makes disassembling pallets easier and it’s great at pulling nails. I highly recommend it.

Has worked very well for pulling nails because it seems to get under the nail head better than the pry bar I already had which is thicker. This is thinner at the ends of the forked part but still strong.

I used this long handle pry bar to separate a wood 2″ x 4″ from a 4″ x 12″. The pry bar’s adjustable head allowed me to get the angle I needed to use my 4-lb dead blow hammer from a standing position. It took just two blows and the pry bar was in. The extra leverage of the long handle easily separated the two sections of wood. The non slip grip on the bar made it comfortable to use.
