Everyone can count on the Bull Bar from Crescent for all of their deck projects. Unlike similar tools, the innovative 180° indexing head changes positions, allowing the user to easily select the best angle for maximum leverage and access. The Bull Bar has a double fork design with teeth that grip the edge of the board, decreasing slippage and providing a balanced lift on both sides of the nail. Closed positions offer fast action for shorter pulls. Open positions allow for powerful downward force on large planks and are an ideal solution for ground-level work. Additionally, a robust center nail puller will remove ring shank nails and stubborn long nails with better balance and increased leverage.
- Double fork design provides balanced lift on both sides of the nail. boards are removed faster, cleaner and with less effort
- Rugged indexing joint allows for maximum flexibility and increased leverage
- Patent pending center nail puller offering better balance and more leverage
- Precision tips designed for fast access between boards and reduced damage for reclaiming materials
- Gripping teeth on forks assist in preventing board slippage

This is a good pry for deck removal. However, it like everything has it’s shortcomings. First off it claims it will fit over double joists. They must be talking about some kind of metric joist cause the fingers are too small to fit a common double joist. Second, if the decking is like mine and installed on a 45 degree to the joist it’s much more difficult to use. All in all though we (me 73 and my son-in-law) ripped out my deck (32’x24’) in under 4 hours. And there’s no way we could have done that without this bar along with 2 other types of Crescent pry bars.

This tool is designed specifically for its use with adjustable pry U shaped head and nail puller claw in the middle. It easily pries off decking boards and pulls left nail nails out of the deck joists. A must have tool for re decking.

This one might be good with Baird’s and joists installed at 90 degrees. But mine is at 45 degrees. It could not have the needed support point, so no use and immediately returned.

By far the best money I have ever spent. Works 5x better and faster than crowbars.

This tool is a definite must if you are removing pressure treated deck boards. Mine where screwed in with 2” deck screws. I used a Hugh regular crow bar first, …. no comparison , this tool is a must. The tool also pulls out individual nails or screws. The Home Depot should consider renting this tool. Since many customers will only use it once .

Ripped decking boards off with ease. Took board and nails together with one pull. If you have to remove decking boards this is the perfect tool. Received all 1×4 boards on an 18 ft x14 ft deck in less than an hour.

Tore off old 2×6 decking. Worked very well in most situations. Seems well constructed and the indexing feature makes the tool so much more usefull.

Great tool for tearing off the nailed 2X6 deck boards. The indexing head works well to allow adjustments for different positions when placing the tool. The tool is very strong and you do not need to worry about breaking the tool.

I am dismantling a 50 year old barn made from larch 2x6s fastened with ringshank nails. Tough stuff, but this tool allows me to get the leverage I need to safely remove the lumber with minimal damage. Probably never use a conventional crow bar again. Well worth the money!

This beast made the impossible possible forever my 74 year old back. I wouldn’t recommend any 74 year old tear out an old deck and install a new one but if you choose to do so, get one of these tools. It doesn’t the job.
