So every person should have pliers in their tool box! These things can make your life so much easier when it comes to pipe work or trying to twine wires. I love this plier in particular because of the bright handles! I find them immediately. The bright fire red handles are made of hard plastic or silicone. Very durable and meant to have a sturdy grip. The teeth are nice and jagged with a flat upper clamp to maintain a good grip on something flat. I am very pleased with this product! I would definitely recommend.

I got both a 6″ and 8″ version of the Crescent Z2 slip joint pliers for my toolset. These are quality tools that are a step above the set I’ve relied on for years. Extra steps are taken in the manufacturing process that make for a longer lasting, better functioning, better feeling hand tool. The jaws are ground in two 45 degree directions making a cross-hatch pattern instead of just straight across. This makes for better grip in all directions and involves an extra set up/grind step. The dipped vinyl handles are extra thick (.105″ or one hundred and five thousandths) and that involves getting the handle hotter and leaving them in the dip longer to get that thickness. There a lot of little details that make the difference between this tool that feels right and functions right and lesser tools. I expect this to last for years.

Love the long and large handles. It gives these slip joint pliers a good quality grip. The teeth on these slip joint pliers have not issue really grabbing a headless nail. The straight jaw design and padded grip area are what I was looking for in a pair of pliers. These pliers are easy to grip and wit well in your hand when you need to apply that extra force to remove and item. Highly recommended by this DIY’er.

These pliers are great at holding bolts and small nuts.(see pics)with the cross hitched teeth they hold small nuts without any slips.the design towards the tip allow one to get them into tight spaces.a small flaw is that it is hard to cut a thick plastic coated coat hanger. While trying to cut the coat hanger, the handle is too far apart for my hand to hold the pliers and cut the wire.with dexterity problems I find it very difficult to cut the coat hanger.other than that, these pliers are great.
