Bought it to pull out stubborn pneumatic driven brad nails that normal tools would not pull. This tool was successful many more times than other tools at extracting without breaking long smooth nails and staples. Not always 100%, and takes some finesse, but better than any other tool I’ve used.

This tool is designed to be used to pull out nails. I think it achieved that goal nicely. I have used this tool to pull out hundreds of nails from trims removed for flooring job. The tool can grab the nails easily and the leverage created by the curved piece is good enough to pull regular sized nail out. The only improvement I would recommend is to widen the curved part so it will not put two much stress on the surface of the board or wall. Pulling some nails left on the wall left some damage on the dry wall because some of the nails were there very firmly. A wider curved piece will increase the contact surface and protect the dry wall better. Also, with a wider piece a slot can be put at the tip so it can be used as a regular nail puller / pry bar. But overall, I am satisfied with this product. The price and quality are both very good.

This tool is very easy to use, and it works on many types of nails and staples. The rocking surface spreads out pressure to minimize damage to surfaces. This was one of those “I wish that I had discovered this earlier!” kind of purchases.

Nail pulling pliers made pulling a crappy project much easier! We tried using pliers, claw hammer and various nail pullers. This tool was by far the best!

Taking brads out of a couple of stairways after removing carpeting was a nightmare before I bought this gadget. A two day job was reduced to two hours! For anyone removing carpet and facing the hundreds of extra long brads to remove this is a must!

easy to use, does what you’d think. However to complete your nail pulling needs you also the other crescent tool that would help you grab headless nails when they are embedded with nothing to grab onto for leverage. This is a little pricey for a modified plier.
