What a life saver! I bought an older home with carpet on every surface. There was beautiful hardwood underneath all the thousands of staples and nails. This tool made a tedious job much easier.

Does a great job removing finishing nails

Worked great! Only negative would be that the tip of the plier’s teeth need to be sharper, not as blunt as it looks. This would enable the user to pull out staples, or nails which are at the surface, or just below the surface of the board, or whatever material the staple is in, much easier. Other than that, it’s a great tool!…

Works great as long as you can grip the nail and the wood is in good shape…was using it mainly while removing and replacing rafter tails while replacing fascia board…if the woods rotted it obviously doesn’t work great but still best nail puller I have ever used. It will come in handy for many projects and beats old way of using a hammer and small piece of wood to get tough nails out.

Very handy tool. Used it taking wood siding off a house peeping for new siding.

Best nail puller I’ve found. Wish they kept it in stock instead of having to order it on line.

This was the perfect tool for pulling out long nails. I tried various nail pullers and this is the only one that worked on removing the nails that were over two inches long. I definitely recommend it.

Did a nice job for me in the last week removing 2 inch finish nails from oak quarter round without damage. Also pulled a ton of nails removing tack board. I used a pair of nippers to compare and preferred the Crescent slightly more, particularly when I needed more leverage. Also didn’t cut or break any of the smaller nails that my nippers occasionally did. You need a little piece of nail for the pliers to grab on to but for almost all situations you will have enough. No damage to wood either using a thin piece of cardboard between metal and wood.

This tool done a wonderful job once the nail heads are up and above wood grade. It will not pull out in Imbedded, nails you have to get the head out first.

Bought this to help pull out nails in wooden pallets. Could not have done it w/o this tool. Well worth the investment. Seems sturdy.
