These are pliers that are rarely used………..but when needed for long reach access, nothing takes their place; one straight nose and one bent nose design; compound action handles provide a lot of gripping power; well made by Crescent; good price.

The Crescent X2 long nose and bent nose pliers set is a most useful around the house tool set. I have often dropped screws and nuts into the most difficult to reach places and often give up on retrieving them. This set put an end to those problems once and for all. A unique feature is the compound joint which allows access to hard to reach places with minimal handle movement. It also enables the jaws to open to a greater distance then the handles The plier tips are serrated to enable a getter grip and hold.

First thing is these pliers are made by Crescent one of the best tool manufacturers in the United States. They are also guaranteed for life. The price I paid for these was the best price I had ever seen them advertised for. I have been a mechanic all of my life and I’ve had many different brand names of tools and this is one of the best ones. Due to an accident at work I only have one hand now so I need to really look for tools that will help with that. With the double hinge on these pliers it makes it very easy for me to use them with just one hand. The angle pliers work perfect on the OEM spring clamps on water hoses in real tight places. The jaws open about twice as much as a normal pair of pliers while the handles open only half as much is a normal pair of pliers. If you need needle nose pliers to get into real tight places these are definitely the ones to use.
