Crucial memory for a Dell laptop. Dell’s can be picky about non-Dell branded memory but Crucial is guaranteed to work in a Dell. This works perfect in an Inspiron 15 Gaming 5577 model.

I purchased these for a Lenovo Thinkpad T470p. No issues or configuration required. Labels were easy to remove and left no sticky residue. I have been using crucial memory for 10+ years in all of my systems. Never had any DOA or failed modules.

This user-installable quick and easy upgrade will turn your inexpensive laptop into a powerful desktop substitute. I popped this into a $500 laptop and now I’m editing gigabyte high resolution photo files with ease.

Apple makes wonderful computers, but charges an arm and a leg for upgrading the RAM. Order your iMac through B&H to save the tax with minimum RAM and buy the 16GB (2 x 8GB) or 32GB (2x 16GB) memory kit to give you a total of 24 or 40GB. From my days of building windows computers, when I got the 2x16GB kit, I elected to remove the 2x4GB memory boards and put the new 2x16GB in their place. Then I put the original 2x4GB boards in the remaining 2 slots. See the accompanying photo of the boards installed. My rationale for this was that the motherboard was very likely designed to access 2 boards at a time in an ‘interleaved’ fashion, so you need to put equal memory in each one of the paired slots. I used the largest memory in the first pair of interleaved slots, as there is a small slow-down when a program memory needs crosses the pair boundary. In this case, I made that pair boundary as high as I could at 32GB by putting the largest memory cards in the first paired slots. Usually 32GB will hold all of my needs and nothing will have to cross the pair boundary’

Was running on 4 GB of RAM on a Dell Latitude and the 16 GB of Crucial RAM made a difference in the number of apps I could run simultaneously and the number of chrome tabs I could have open. Been running on the new 16 GB for a week now and no issues.

works no issues in my 27 iMac 2017. This is the second set of ram I’ve purchased (first set bought in 2017)

I bought this memory kit based on the recommendation of a colleague and it was the perfect replacement for the memory in the ASUS Chromebox 3 Mini Desktop Computer. It was easy to remove the prior kit and replace it with this one.
