Upgrading my 17inch HP Envy from the 8gb memory it came with to 16gb . I did not notice much difference in everyday computing however using Photoshop with a bunch of layers open is where I see a big improvement.

Outrageously easy and quick upgrade for an iMAC. Save a ton of money, rather than purchasing more RAM from Apple.

Love me some B&H Photo! I resurrected a slightly aged Dell laptop and needed to juice the RAM to make it viable. B&H had what I needed, their ordering process was simple, their shipping was fast and safe, and the installation was a breeze. End of story, but I’m a happy customer.

Bought this RAM to add to a 27 iMac I bought at the same time. Very easy to install, but I kept getting kernel panics. After much consternation (a brand new computer that wouldn’t work reliably) and thinking I had purchased a lemon I went back to old Mac knowledge. I discovered the new modules were clocked at 1866 MHz and the ones in the computer were 1867. A very slight mismatch, but a mismatch. The ones in the computer came in slots one and three. Once I moved them to slots one and two and installed the Crucials in slots three and four, everything worked fine. Nothing on Crucial’s website or Apple’s pointed out this potential problem.

Just purchased two sets to max out my iMac memory, the price here on BH is even cheaper than Crucial. I originally planning to buy from Crucial but somehow they cancelled my order three times claimed they couldnt verify some key info on my payment info… Well its their loss, they dont want my business so I turn my head to BH, and BH never fail me all these years, shipping is fast and on time as always! Thank you BH!

Use the memory to upgrade my new Synology NAS. Works great and has improved overall performance. B&H was a pleasure to deal with.

So far, everything seems to be running fast and smooth. The only problem I had was to open the RAM port on the back to install the memory. Note that you will need a non-metal pointy object (I used an old pencil, broke the led tip off and placed some pieces of toilet paper on the port and pressed the pen into that in order to get the button pressed in far enough for the door to pop open – using just your fingers or the suction cup solution was not enough for me! Also, be sure to check the alignment of the RAM sticks as you insert them into the slots, as some online videos show different patterns than the Crucial ones I got)

Installation facile et mon ordinateur iMac l’a reconnu. J’avais lu que quelque fois certain ordinateur ne reconnaisse les cartes mmoires.
