I purchased this memory for a new 27, 5K imac that I also purchased at the same time. Great price and quick service. Plus no sales tax!

Worked like a charm in my new imac 5k!
Amina Treutel (verified owner) –
Definitely a great decision. My iMac was slow and sometimes freeze with only 8GB… This is a new computer, and I decided to add more memory to run my programs without any issue. It was easy to install and ready to go.

Was delivered quickly when other vendors were out of stock. Easy to install and worked perfectly.

Nothing special about the memory. It just works. The memory is specifically designed for iMac 27. I installed them and the installation is easy. It works and the speed is as advertised.

While replacing my original Hard drive with a Solid State Drive, I decided to upgrade my RAM at the same time. This memory kit was delivered promptly and works perfectly giving my old laptop new life.

With their ram finder, crucial.com states that this is the 8gb ram meant for 27, 5k Retina, Late 2015 iMacs. That may be incorrect, but that’s coming from the manufacturer of the memory. I don’t have this ram or an iMac yet (currently thinking about it and looking at memory upgrades). There seems to be at least a few different ram options (from Crucial anyway) that seem equivalent (essentially the same specs) but aren’t I guess…

Bought for my 5K 27in iMac. Purchased 32GB. Works perfect, and very fast performance!

Works good, easy to install in Late 2015 27 iMac, in fact, it was harder to get out of the package than it was to install in the computer! The memory is recognized perfectly by the iMac and is working alongside the 8GB that came with the computer without issue.I just wish B&H would have had the 32GB kit when I ordered.

This ram is perfect for Imac Retina 5k late 2015 (27” Skylake), faster and much ceaper than the one sold by Apple itself. No compatibility issues at all.
Adelbert Fisher (verified owner) –
The memory module effectively doubled my memory in my HP Envy 15t laptop. The laptop came with 8 GB, and after the installation, I now see 16 GB. Before B&H, I was having difficulty finding the correct memory module, but they carried it and it was in-stock.

Recently purchased Late 2015 27 5K iMac with 8GB, thinking about upgrading the RAM on my own. Bought 2 of these 8GB Crucial (16GB total) to replace the current RAM. Computer was working, but there was screen flickering all over the place. So I didn’t like that. Sticking with Apple’s 4GB x 2 RAM for my iMac for now. NOTE: this is a new computer. I’m writing this review in December 2015. This could be an update issue that will be fixed in 2016… But for now, I’m staying with Apple’s RAM.

If you buy an iMac Retina with 32gb of RAM installed direct from Apple you spent about 4 times the cost you needed to. The installation took all of 5 minutes and was incredibly straight forward.
Reyna Purdy (verified owner) –
A quick and easy upgrade that really helped our performance
Glenna Balistreri (verified owner) –
Works like a charm. No problems with the installation! Upgraded from 8GB to 24GB. No problems at least so far!
