The 32GB DDR4 2400 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Kit from Crucial comes with two sticks of 16GB RAM chips that are designed for notebooks as well as most NUCs. These memory modules are compatible with systems that have two 260-pin slots and support non-ECC, unbuffered DDR4 memory. Each module features a CAS latency of 17 and a speed of 2400 MHz. With more memory, the computer can better handle demanding applications as well as run multiple programs at the same time. In addition, they operate at 1.2V and offer other energy features to reduce power consumption.

I purchased this because my grandson said the 8 gb memory he had took so long to download his games. I purchased 2 of these. Let me tell you, there isn’t a kid more happier. Instead of waiting over an hour to download his game it only takes 3 minutes. The tech people at B&H were so helpful and explained what I would need. After purchasing a Dell Inspiron 13 5000-5379, I noticed the 8GB of installed memory was sometimes getting maxed out. Luckily, the computer has two slots and came with only one full, so adding another 8GB was an easy, cost effective solution: Shut down the computer, remove the small Phillips screws on the bottom, use a bone tool to unsnap the panel. Making sure you dont have a static charge with a wrist-strap or are grounded, slip the module into the empty slot. Voila! 16GB were shown after restart. Now the computer runs quicker and has plenty of room to run multiple programs. Thank you B&H for a competitive deal and fast delivery.
