My mid-2012 macbook pro had 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. After the OS updated to 10.15.7, I couldn’t connect to my HP color laserjet printer (M281fdw). After I upgraded to 16 GB RAM with the Crucial kit, the problem was solved. My printer appeared in the printer window as it should and I was able to add it easily.

I upgraded a 2012 13inch, macbook pro from 8 to 16 GB… Well so far so good. Easy upgrade, worked fine… Until today I has a weird freeze up. Not sure it’s the RAM or what. Restarted the Mac and everything fine. But it scared me to death.

The additional 4GB of RAM helps my 2012 DELL laptop runs faster and it can have more tabs and apps running. The original 4GB of RAM was struggling with bringing up Yahoo Mail or participating in a video call. It kept on swapping memory space with the hard drive disk space running the CPU and disk at 100% all the time. I expect this RAM upgrade should keep my laptop working for another three years before I have to buy a new laptop.

I bought this set to upgrade my new 5K iMac from the 8GB that Apple ships the computer with as standard to 24 GB. Works like a charm. Easy to install and a hassle-free user upgrade everyone can do themselves. Highly recommended!

I bought this memory upgrade for my late-2013 iMac and it’s a perfect fit. I was apprehensive mixing memory from different makers and different sizes. No problems installing and the iMac started right up, no issues or problems. Installation couldn’t be easier. I use this for editing photos in Photoshop CC and Lightroom. Some functions are processor bound and/or I/O bound if using external drives for scratch disks. This isn’t the ultimate solution for those processes but overall it’s a good improvement.

I have purchased this kit to upgrade my new MB Pro (Mid 2012, Ivy Bridge) 15 that came with 4GB installed, and uses DDR3-1600MHz. Using it for some weeks now, several virtual machines, photoshop, and it is rock-solid. Recommended.

Everybody knows not to customize their Mac straight from Apple so it should be no surprise that i’m positively reviewing this memory. I stuck two 8gb sticks into my new 2012 MBP and it works fine. 3 weeks in and no issues.

This memory module was an exact and proper fit and really improved the speed of apps such as IDE’s and Photo editors. I bought one to add to the 4G already installed and it worked so well I bought another one.

I bought these modules to upgrade a Synology NAS and they were recognized right away, so I’m getting the full upgraded memory capacity without paying twice as much for the Synology version. No problems so far, and super-easy.
