Open it up, put it in,fire it up and go! Couldn’t be easier. I do a lot of fractal rendering and this cut the time down by a bunch. And since it was marked as Mac ram you know it works.

Great price and works just great on my Asus laptop. Not just for Mac.

with these ram modules in place, my computer boots and is ready for work before the monitor has powered up completely. Very fast! And, the computer runs cool all day long with the benefit of this extra-quick memory.

When I purchased my late 2014 Apple 27 iMac with Retina 5K Display from B&H it came with 8GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. I’m working with photographs with large file sizes and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t experience any slowing in the speed of my computer so I decided to increase RAM by 16 GB. I had some concerns regarding installing it but decided to move forward with the purchase. The item arrived promptly and much to my surprise the RAM was very easy to install and it works perfectly with previously installed Apple 8 GB RAM! No issues at all. So, if you want additional memory, don’t hesitate to buy from B&H and install it yourself. As always, working with B&H was great.

It works! Thanks to You Tube videos, I installed them myself. Wow, it’s been great to be able to use my computer again after a year and a half of not because it was painfully slow.

The memory upgrade on my Mac Mini (Late 2013 running Mavericks) was quick and simple. I was suspecting that my system was sluggish due to a memory short fall but not completely sure that was the problem. Following the upgrade the system is performing much faster. I find application responsiveness much improved and also I notice much less disk activity. As always, I found B&H to communicate transaction status accurately, ship promptly, and maintain the most competitive prices. Additionally, their customer reviews are very informing and tremendously help with decision making. Very pleased with this product and B&H retail experience.

I always have a great experience with B & H. The memory works flawlessly in my late 2012 MacBook Pro. The price beat everyplace else on the web. Also, when considering this upgrade, I inquired on B&H chat as to whether 16GB would work in my MacBook, since it’s not officially supported. The chat agent did the responsible thing and stated that it was unsupported and that he/she wouldn’t recommend the upgrade. Very professional! (I bought it anyway, and it works flawlessly.)

I revived an old Lenovo laptop that was choking on anti-virus s/w and had slowed to a crawl. Now my wife can use the laptop for MS Office work.

I’m updating my previous review. I bought an iMac 5K and this memory does work well in it BUT only if you use Crucial memory without Apple memory. If you add these modules to an iMac 5K that also has stock Apple memory, you will get kernel panics and it will constantly freeze up and reboot. After a day of this, I wasn’t able to start my mac at all and had to bring it into the @. If you run a diagnostic check with both types of memory you will get an error. Run the diagnostic check with just the Crucial memory or just the Apple memory everything works fine and you won’t run into any problems. So yes, it works great on it’s own BUT DO NOT MIX WITH APPLE MEMORY, they do not play well together! I hope this saves other iMac 5K users some headaches. Thank you to both B&H and Apple for helping me resolve this issue!
