The most difficult thing was removing the back cover of my laptop. After that it took 2 minutes to remove the existing memory and insert the two 16 GB memory modules. I reattached the back cover and I was done. The increased memory has dramatically improved performance.

Unable to update my iMac (24, 2008) anymore, it was time for a replacement. Ended up with a Mac Mini, the basic version. Added a 2TB seagate SSD External drive and ordered 32GB of RAM. Took several weeks as it was backordered, but the RAM showed up last week. Swap was delayed as i had to order a set of Torx security tools. Thanks Apple. Tools arrived yesterday so i did the swap. The Crucial RAM was recognized by the Mac. Easy replacement, and the RAM should help the machine a bit.

My RAM came to my door step less than 72 hours after I placed the order. I installed it into my new 2019 – 27 iMac that I purchased with the standard 8GB. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I shut down my computer to the time I turned the power back on with an additional 32GB of RAM installed. Extremely easy process and saved me over $410.00 ($189.99 from B&H, self installed vs $600.00 installed by Apple. In addition to the cash savings, I also now have 40GB of RAM instead of 32GB. As you would expect, the speed of the computer is much faster since installing 5x the RAM.
