Now I can run Lightroom, Photoshop and plug-ins at the same time without waiting or any slow downs! Now if I only knew how to upgrade my processor.

If you’re not really experienced in this you might do what I did and order this SODIMM memory when you should have ordered DIMM. SODIMM is a small card for laptops; DIMM is a long card for desktops. BH was kind enough to let me return it but I had to pay a restocking charge and return postage. My fault.

I replace two 8gb oem from a Alienware 17 R5, this ram works perfect for this laptop, 2667mhz bit more than advertised, recomend it at all

Of course, I would never open up a Mac on my own and risk voiding the warranty, so I purchased this (for a friend 🙂 ) to upgrade his 2018 Mac Mini. This ram worked perfectly. The upgrade took about 20 minutes to complete. A torx TAMPER RESISTANT T6 screwdriver was required (must be able to accept the security bolt in the screw – regular T6 will not work – see OWC screwdrivers). The OWC video tutorial on how to upgrade the ram on the mini was easy to follow. The extra ram makes a big difference in the speed and ability to multi-task on the Mac Mini (although I never thought it was slow, but I can tell a difference moving from 8GB to 32GB). I realize this is specific to Mac Mini ram, but I’ve used Crucial on all of my upgrades in the past and have not once been disappointed. I’ve upgraded 5 macs (MB Pros, iMacs, Mac Minis) in the past 10 years and Crucial has always been very reliable for me.

I got this kit to replace the 8gb that came with my 2018 Mac Mini. The ram has been great so far. Knowing I saved $500+ (Apple price for 32gb) is even better.

I installed the SODIMM in my new laptop without any trouble. It seems to be working. Price/delivery time at B&H were excellent.

Easy to install, boosted the speed of my computer, no issues.

Item was backordered but B&H did an excellent job keeping me in the loop. They mailed the item as soon as it became available. Plus, the price is cheaper in B&H vs other sellers!

Gambled buying this Ram stick for my Mac mini 2018. One of my first self installations. I can confirm, a month or so later, that I now have a Mac with 20 Gig RAM (16+4); it works as expected and utilizes the needed extra ram.

I started using my Synology DS1618+ to run a couple of virtual machines, so the stock 4 GB was not going to cut it. Upgraded with two sticks of this RAM, and it’s working great with plenty of headroom.

Not to difficult to replace but Apple did change the cage screws for the cover on the ram. Videos on you tube did not say but I will say you need a set of computer tools! I got mine at Lowes, Cobalt 50 piece set $32.00! Ram is awesome fast now and and no beachballs like I was getting!Great delivery time and fast service from B&H and Will definitely give them another shot when I need anything else.

This is more like a store review than a product review because if you’re searching for ram for a laptop you already know what you’re getting. Easy to install and works like it’s supposed to. Now, B&H is wonderful to shop at. Every techie’s dream! Even with the pandemic the store runs smooth like a fresh cut marble counter. Like clockwork, you place your order online. Shortly an email is sent that it’s ready for pick up and they have customers moving so fast in the store you barely notice a wait. The personnel are very professional and speedy. Love shopping here.

I upgraded my Dell Laptop G5 5590 9750H Core i7 from 16GB to 32GB. It is working very well. I am used to use crucial products, first I started with SSDs and now with memory modules. Regards

Easy to install in my 2019 iMac. Nice cost-effective upgrade.

Crucial was a recommended manufacturer from Apple. Got a new iMac and wanted more ram. Cheaper to buy the iMac with less ram and then buy more through B&H. Easy to drop in.
