Micron makes Apple and Crucial ram. The 8g I took out has Micron logo on it. I think that’s why It’s so compatible. I recommend this ram for all apple users. Especially for 2018 mini Mac. If you buy the tool kit and watch YouTube install. You can do it. It’s not as hard as it looks. I hope this helps 2018 mini Mac users.

Taking into account all the positive reviews about this RAM, I believe I ended with a faulty pair that was impossible to be recognized by my fully compatible (as per the website of Crucial) and perfectly functioning Dell laptop. After trying every possible suggestion from Crucial’s troubleshooting, the last one was send it back because you probably ended with a faulty one. Easy to do because I purchased it from the best (thank you B&H for one more time) but I could not give more than one star to the product, based on my experience, wasted time and overall hassle.

Been doing IT work for over 20 years. The brand I buy when it comes to memory is Crucial and that is because I have built quite a few computers for myself at this point and almost all of them had Crucial memory and almost zero problems. In this case I installed the memory and my system immediately recognized it etc and now my system is significantly faster. It is always worth doing the research to ensure compatibility but also worth sticking with the brands that have proven themselves trustworthy.

Worked awesome but the 2019 mac mini needs the tamperproof torex T5, T6, T8, T10 to unscrew housing base. There is a pin in the torex screw on the cover the mac used to keep user out of a user upgrade. I dremel cut slots in the flush 3 and used plyers on the stud 3. Still need the other micro torex bits. Memory works great. Super upgrade. Saved me $300
