After my macbook pro started bogging down running applications like photoshop and lightroom i noticed my ram was running low. After I installed this it works perfect and fast as ever with multiple applications opened! A+++

I installed these DIMM’s in a QNAP TS-251+. They were somewhat difficult to install in the unit – the access screws were tiny, and the working space tight. It took about a half hour. The unit started without a problem and recognized the 8GB immediately. I don’t really see a performance increase, but I may not be running applications which make use of the additional RAM. Four stars because it works. Minus one because I really can’t see any difference, but I doubt whether that’s related to the DIMMs.

When I ordered this which came very quickly it made a significant positive change in my computers operation

My daughter’s Mac was hanging periodically. After all the usual voodoo, I suspected a faulty RAM module. Replaced both SIMMs with this one and it’s been fine ever since.

The RAM that I ordered came in a very timely manner, and I noticed no physical or digital issues with the hardware when removing it from the package and preparing to install the RAM. Installation was easy, the hardware never felt flimsy or like it was about to break, and I can definitely say I’ve noticed a smoothness in how my computer runs applications and programs. I’m very pleased with this product that B&H offers and how reliable they are in providing the customer with the product.

This memory upgrade made my mid 2012 Macbook Pro functional again after a recent OS update to Catalina. The existing 4 GB of RAM was not enough to allow Lightroom to load. A new Samsung 1TB SSD will be installed shortly to speed things up to the maximum that this machine is capable of. The Ram was easily installed and was recognized immediately.

Purchased for my Late 2011, 15 Mac Book Pro. Apple specs the computer saying that it can only handle a max of 8GB but when I installed (2) 8GB modules, it DOES recognize 16GBs and runs it fully. Great purchase, shipped super quickly and was very easy to install

I had this product delivered to Australia & it took no longer than the Australian post would have taken had I bought it locally (& it was cheaper than buying it locally). The whole ordering process is simple & trouble free. I had it in my computer up & running in no time. I upgraded from 4gb in my Dell Vostro 5460 & the extra speed my computer is dealing with things now is quite noticeable. Very satisfied with my purchase. Thank You!

Works like charm! I have 32GB now in my notebook. I may need seat belts for excessive speed! B&H has the best price and service, bar none…

I used this memory module to improve my iMac. Its very easy to install, works flawlessly and costs half the price compared to Mac stores/dealers. Very recommended!

Fast-Fast-Fast. I work with Photo and Video and the projects load a lot faster with this mac as they did on the old mac

The product image showed 4 chips on the 8 GB module which is why I paid extra for it. The module arrived having 8 chips. The capacity is the same (8GB) but the 4 chip version consumes less power (important if you don’t want the laptop fan to cycle) so it is misleading.

I ordered these for my 2012 MacBook Pro that became unbearably slow after recent OS upgrades — amazing improvement, and no more annoying wait. Easy installation. Fast shipping, too. Very happy with the purchase.

Bolstered my video editing capability, glad for the unexpectedly quick delivery from NY to CA.

My iMac had become almost unusably slow (1-2 minutes to load a program, 10+ mins to boot up) and crashed frequently. I wiped the hard drive and started over with no improvement, so I decided to buy a memory upgrade and add 16GB to the existing 8GB for a total of 24GB. Fortunately I’d seen a review on Amazon that recommended rearranging the existing cards and the new ones in the slots–the first time I installed these, a got no boot up and the three-beep error message. I rearranged the modules and it worked the second time. The computer is faster than it was when I bought it. For now it’s perfect, though if the OS and my Adobe CS outpace the 24GB I’ll try upgrading to 32GB or more. So glad a $135 purchase saved me from need to drop $2000+ on a new system.

Popped these in my 2015 iMac running 3-screens (5k Retina + 2 Apple thunderbolts) and it booted right up and have not had any issues with apps running simultaneously or anything. I am not running a ton of graphic-based apps, but occasionally dabble in Photoshop while HD videos are running on my other screens, never a hiccup.

It is RAM, it was compatible with my system, and the price was right.
