I have a late 2012 Mac Mini. It only had four gigs of RAM in it. I updated to Sierra, and it was running very slow. Was about to drop quite a bit of money on a new computer. But I figured I try this RAM first. Well, to my surprise, it is running so beautiful now I can’t even believe it. It’s running just about what I’d expect a new iMac to run. Could’ve be happier.

Just what my laptop needed to breathe a little life into it. Better than buy something new was fixing something older. Laptop is 8yrs old and I am running an Intel i3 processor with a SSD. Good what I need it for. For 70 bucks

Simple compatible expansion for my retina iMac, just a lot cheaper then Apple’s memory and took 5 min to install. Nothing bad to say.

Replaced the original Synology DDR3 1600 2GB CL11 1.5V RAM in the internal slot with this Crucial DDR3L 1600 1.35V CL11 RAM. Everything works as expected. I am considering buying another one to expand in the external slot. A small gotcha: originally I installed this 1.35V new RAM in the external slot, only to find that the system did not boot. Soon I realized that the original RAM was of 1.5V voltage and all RAMs had to be on the same voltage.

The additional 4GB of RAM helps my 2012 DELL laptop runs faster and it can have more tabs and apps running. The original 4GB of RAM was struggling with bringing up Yahoo Mail or participating in a video call. It kept on swapping memory space with the hard drive disk space running the CPU and disk at 100% all the time. I expect this RAM upgrade should keep my laptop working for another three years before I have to buy a new laptop.

I purchased this for my Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. I mean, it’s memory ? you take the old ones out and you put the new ones in. There really isn’t much to review. The packaging was easy to open. Perhaps I could take away a star because they could have made the package smaller and I didn’t notice if it was made from recycled plastic or not. I’ll be nice today…

Some people may or may not know, but MAC’s use X86 platform with standard Intel chipsets, meaning they are basically PC’s… any how, this worked great on my workstation, works as expected, no complaints.

Not much to say – works fine in a mid 2012 15 Macbook Pro. Follow the instructions on iFixit.com

Purchase them RAM for my son’s laptop easy to install, my sons computer little faster, buying from B&H always great.

A lot of folks don’t understand the differences between DDR3 and DDR3L. You can put DDR3L in place of DDR3 but not vice versa. If the Motherboard can do it, it uses less power at a lower voltage. I build and repair lots of older style PCs and custom units. This Crucial RAM is excellent, it is highly reliable and B&H sell it at a very competitive price.

I use these for Intel Nuc pcs. They are flawless. I never have an issue with them.

Crucial brand memory is always guaranteed to be a great product in my opinion. This module went in easy without any problems and was instantly recognized by my macbook. It’s been zinging along ever since. I run a lot of code with many windows open (excel, several terminal windows, chrome, etc) and with the increased memory my computer no longer hangs.

I was hoping to use this upgrade in a MacBook Pro mid-2010 (macbookpro7,1) – I was hoping the memory would downclock to 1066 Mhz. Sadly it did not. Fortunately, I also have a mid-2011 Mac mini (macmini5,3) and this memory work in it and had the positive side effect of clocking up to 1600 Mhz. So far so goo.
