I purchase a Dell Inspiron 15 i7559-5012GRY Signature Edition Laptop from the Microsoft store around December 15,2016. The memory module did not require much to Install. I definitely noticed an increase in the speed of start up time, increase of content from web pages, and programs. It’s an expensive product that gave me more functionality. Since the mid 90’s I’ve always used Crucial to max memory on my computers. However, this is the first time I saw a difference. I would have given it 5 stars except that I never paid more tha $35 for this type of upgrade. B&H had the best price when I pulled the trigger.

I have 2 older (~5 year old ASUS & Lenovo) laptops that were becoming very sluggish in performance even though both have i7 multi-core CPUs. Once these Crucial memory modules were installed on both machines to their maximum RAM capacity, their speeds were restored to the day I bought them. Best thing is that prices are now less than half the price from 5 years ago.

Whenever I need to upgrade RAM, I simply go to the Crucial site and used their Crucial System Scanner tool to automatically detect what type of RAM I need and how much my computer will accept. Then I come to B&H for great service and prices, get the chips and they work great.

The memory upgrade on my Mac Mini (Late 2013 running Mavericks) was quick and simple. I was suspecting that my system was sluggish due to a memory short fall but not completely sure that was the problem. Following the upgrade the system is performing much faster. I find application responsiveness much improved and also I notice much less disk activity. As always, I found B&H to communicate transaction status accurately, ship promptly, and maintain the most competitive prices. When I purchased my late 2014 Apple 27 iMac with Retina 5K Display from B&H it came with 8GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. I’m working with photographs with large file sizes and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t experience any slowing in the speed of my computer so I decided to increase RAM by 16 GB. I had some concerns regarding installing it but decided to move forward with the purchase. The item arrived promptly and much to my surprise the RAM was very easy to install and it works perfectly with previously installed Apple 8 GB RAM! No issues at all. So, if you want additional memory, don’t hesitate to buy from B&H and install it yourself. As always, working with B&H was great.
