With this memory upgrade which is a fraction of the cost from what Apple wanted. I can now edit video using Final Cut Pro X on my 13 Macbook ProBefore I would get the pinwheel for upwards of 5-7 minutes just to add a cross fade into a scene. Installs in minutes, works like a charm. I was running 8GBs in an iMac for retouching photos. I routinely have multiple RAW images open in Lightroom and as layers in Photoshop for alignment, blending, and bulk adjustments. Upgrading the iMac to 32 GBs resulted in a substantial improvement in processing time. The B&H chat agent helped me select the brand and it was not the most expensive. That helps when one is retired.

works fine on a macbook pro 13″ mid 2012 Core i5 – 2.5GHZ. (MacBookPro9,2) The system sees all 16GB despite apple says it can only take 8GB max. increases the intel graphics memory to 1536 MB.
