Each non-ECC unbuffered DDR3 PC3-12800 RAM memory module features a 1600 MHz clock speed, a CAS latency of 11, a 1024 Meg x 64 configuration, and a power rating of 1.35V. To use this module, your system must have both a 204-pin SO-DIMM slot and DDR3-enabled chip.

Open it up, put it in,fire it up and go! Couldn’t be easier. I do a lot of fractal rendering and this cut the time down by a bunch. And since it was marked as Mac ram you know it works.

I installed 32 GB of ram into my 27 3.4GHz Core i7 iMac upon delivery. I got this for my 13 i5 macbook pro, which had 4GB RAM earlier. After the upgrade to Mavericks, the machine had slowed down like hell. Now, I have upgraded to 16Gigs. I see there is a significant change in speed, positive off course. I bumped up the memory by 4 times, but speed dint go high in the same ratio. Boot time is still the same, but yes application launches faster. I see faster response to Microsoft applications like word/excel, but not very great. Its kind of mix feeling for me. At end I must talk about cost. If we go to *for 8gigs they charge $200, but paid way less than that and got double the memory, so I think its value for money product.

Bought this pair to upgrade my laptop from 16 to 32 GB of memory. Simple to install, and now my computer is super fast! Don’t be fooled by the product name (Mac). These cards work in my Windows machine – they are just specially tested and certified for use in Macs, as required by Apple.

I bought this memory upgrade for my late-2013 iMac and it’s a perfect fit. I was apprehensive mixing memory from different makers and different sizes. No problems installing and the iMac started right up, no issues or problems. Installation couldn’t be easier. I use this for editing photos in Photoshop CC and Lightroom. Some functions are processor bound and/or I/O bound if using external drives for scratch disks. This isn’t the ultimate solution for those processes but overall it’s a good improvement.

A great product without question. The great thing about Crucial Memory is their websites and how it pinpoints the correct memory for your device. I have used Crucial every time I update Ram memory. The memory modules fit my system perfectly. Installation was problem free. My note book computer booted up and recognized the amount of new Ram memory Instantly. Crucial memory is the best in my opinion.
