The 8GB DDR3L 1600 MHz SODIMM Memory Module Kit from Crucial comes with two 4GB modules that are designed for notebooks and compact desktop systems. Each SODIMM module is compatible with systems that have an available 204-pin memory slot. For performance, it runs at a speed of 1600 MHz (PC3L-12800) and has a CAS latency of 11. Additionally, the DDR3L memory chips can operate at 1.35V or 1.5V.

    I was using MacBook Pro 17 in with 8Gb Ram and it was crawling. But using crucial 16Gb has made a significant difference in speed. I have also replaced my HD with Sandisk Ultra II 480Gb. It goes very well with this crucial 16Gb ram. I am fully satisfied. It couldn’t have been better.
