I used to buy memory one at a time. The difference in match memory is like night and day.

I had a 1GB RAM in my Synology NAS and it was okay for the first couple of years, but after I started to use it more frequently/heavily, I knew I needed to change the RAM. This was the best fit!

I used this RAM on my 2012 Macbook pro and it works great and the System recognize this 16GB RAM!

The additional 4GB of RAM helps my 2012 DELL laptop runs faster and it can have more tabs and apps running. The original 4GB of RAM was struggling with bringing up Yahoo Mail or participating in a video call. It kept on swapping memory space with the hard drive disk space running the CPU and disk at 100% all the time. I expect this RAM upgrade should keep my laptop working for another three years before I have to buy a new laptop.

My mid-2012 macbook pro had 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. After the OS updated to 10.15.7, I couldn’t connect to my HP color laserjet printer (M281fdw). After I upgraded to 16 GB RAM with the Crucial kit, the problem was solved. My printer appeared in the printer window as it should and I was able to add it easily.

I have never had enough RAM. Finally I thought my memory problems would be solved. I use Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro for extensive photo and video artwork creation. I use Adobe Dreamweaver and Bridge to work on my website. I work more than 8 hours a day. The 3 star rating is to say average. It might deserve 5 stars. I can’t tell where my artifacts are coming from because I updated the operating system, played with a new iPad and iCloud, and added a new external drive all at the same time. The probrems mainly come from the video editing program. Large areas of the screen become festively embroidered in colorful patterns. I can’t multitask. I restart often. I should say that installation was simple and my iMac reports the correct amount of RAM. Perhaps my problems are the Video Memory. So do not take this as a negative review. It is an I am in troubleshooting mode review.

From the Crucial website it was easy to determine what kind of memory I needed. I ordered through B & H and the process was easy and delivery quick! Installing the memory was a bit tricky but that was due to my Dell model – I basically had to take the whole thing apart! Thrilled with the results – it’s like a brand new computer! I’ve now ordered memory for my Mac as well. Thank you!

This memory was very easy to install, even for someone who typically never does their own building or modifications. Plus I can see the difference a ram upgrade made for my MacBook Pro.

I purchased this memory to increase my laptop to 16 gig so my video capture of the eclipse would go smoothly. Tests showed an increase of FPS to 11 at full 16 meg resolution.

Memory modules are the easiest to remove & install. This 1 I bought is no exception & I did notice a bit of a difference in my computing speed.
