This memory kit is compatible with Mac Mini 2012. The installation took less than 5 minutes and my Mac Mini booted right up and now I very rarely see the spinning rainbow ball!!!! This was a great upgrade and pricing of this memory kit has fallen substantially. You will be happy for at least one more year with your Mac Mini’s performance :))

I ordered these for my 2012 MacBook Pro that became unbearably slow after recent OS upgrades — amazing improvement, and no more annoying wait. Easy installation. Fast shipping, too. Very happy with the purchase.

These memory modules replace the 2 x 4 GByte modules I had previously. Crucial europe did not have them on stock, so I ordered at B&H and I must say I had a good shopping and delivery experience. The whole process was easy and B&H did provide a lot of progress information. The well-packed modules arrived in good order and perform great after installation. Together with a recent upgrade of HD to SSD I expect my nine year old laptop to withstand the modern bloatware for another 5 years.

What is the difference between this model and the other that is apparently exactly the same other than part number and price.

This 16 GB of RAM does work correctly in the 2012 MacBook Pro and it is recognized at 1600 MHz. All the functions of the MacBook Pro are working in perfection. With 16GB of RAM multitasking is a breeze. Memory installation is fairly easy. There are several youtube videos which demonstrate RAM installation in MacBook Pro. There are step by step instructions as well on apple’s website. Crucial memory are well respected and have won several awards for quality and reliability. So if you are in market to upgrade the RAM of your MacBook Pro 2012, this memory is highly recommended.

Not only did B&H help correct my mistake but they reimbursed and help me purchase the correct memory for my computer. It’s especially good for me in such a rural area!

Shopped around, online, for this 16GB memory pair, because no one around where I live carried it, and found B&H to have best price and free delivery before anyone else could get it to me for a delivery fee. Thank you B&H for such great service!!

I upgraded a 2012 13inch, macbook pro from 8 to 16 GB… Well so far so good. Easy upgrade, worked fine… Until today I has a weird freeze up. Not sure it’s the RAM or what. Restarted the Mac and everything fine. But it scared me to death.

In spite of HP statement that a HP Envy 17t max memory is 16 GB (2 x 8GB). Online chat support indicated that the upgrade to 32 GB (2 x 16GB) should work. I then ordered knowing return was possible. I received the memory 2 days later, with no shipping cost. which was great. Open computer and installed. The computer saw the new RAM with no issue. Thanks B&H
