The 8GB DDR3L 1600 MHz SODIMM Memory Module Kit from Crucial comes with two 4GB modules that are designed for notebooks and compact desktop systems. Each SODIMM module is compatible with systems that have an available 204-pin memory slot. For performance, it runs at a speed of 1600 MHz (PC3L-12800) and has a CAS latency of 11. Additionally, the DDR3L memory chips can operate at 1.35V or 1.5V.

As a professional musician I need my Macbook to run as fast as possible. Ever since Purchasing 16GB (2 x 8GB) 204-Pin SODIMM DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module Kit (Mac) by Crucial I was able to run Logic, Ableton, and mainstage with no problems at all. Prior to having the Crucial Memory my computer was lagging and freezing on stage. When I turn on the Macbook the startup is much faster also. I can multitask and run several programs at a time. I am able to accept any show and not worry about my programs failing. Very Reliable, fast, and easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone who needs faster performance.

I purchase a Dell Inspiron 15 i7559-5012GRY Signature Edition Laptop from the Microsoft store around December 15,2016. The memory module did not require much to Install. I definitely noticed an increase in the speed of start up time, increase of content from web pages, and programs. It’s an expensive product that gave me more functionality. Since the mid 90’s I’ve always used Crucial to max memory on my computers. However, this is the first time I saw a difference. I would have given it 5 stars except that I never paid more tha $35 for this type of upgrade. B&H had the best price when I pulled the trigger.
