Plug and play. It can’t get any easier than that!

Though not officially supported by Synology, this memory matches the technical requirements of the DS1515+ NAS, which comes with 2GB from the factory, with another empty memory slot. Installation is not difficult, but a flashlight and small mirror will help with replacement of the original memory module, which is accessed from within the (empty) drive bay space. The 2nd memory slot is accessible by merely removing the NAS cover.

It was a easy and in expensive purchase, and after watching a YouTube video, it took 10 minutes to upgrade my laptop from 8 to 16GB ram. For 10 minutes and less than $60, I put off buying a new computer by at least 3 years.

Everybody knows not to customize their Mac straight from Apple so it should be no surprise that i’m positively reviewing this memory. I stuck two 8gb sticks into my new 2012 MBP and it works fine. 3 weeks in and no issues.

I needed to update my memory from 6 and was able install 2 8 so I now have 16 and my computer works great.

Crucial brand memory is always guaranteed to be a great product in my opinion. This module went in easy without any problems and was instantly recognized by my macbook. It’s been zinging along ever since. I run a lot of code with many windows open (excel, several terminal windows, chrome, etc) and with the increased memory my computer no longer hangs.

Upgrading from 4gb to 16gb on a macbook pro makes a world of difference! It’s like having a new computer.

These two cards ramped my iMac 27 inch up to super power status. With the 24GB I now have I can run Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, Safari, MS Word and Mail simultaneously which results in an easier work flow.

I used these in my new iMac and it sped up the computer beautifully.

Crucial branded ram always works. It was advertised to work in my system and it did. No system crashes or instability, system recognized the memory immediately. Their RAM is some of the best out there and is worth the price.

Not much you can write about RAM. You plug it in and it works. As usual, got very decent pricing from B&H and top notch customer service. This RAM was for my 2012 iMac. Works 100%

I got this for my 13 i5 macbook pro, which had 4GB RAM earlier. After the upgrade to Mavericks, the machine had slowed down like hell. Now, I have upgraded to 16Gigs. I see there is a significant change in speed, positive off course. I bumped up the memory by 4 times, but speed dint go high in the same ratio. Boot time is still the same, but yes application launches faster. I see faster response to Microsoft applications like word/excel, but not very great. Its kind of mix feeling for me. At end I must talk about cost. If we go to *for 8gigs they charge $200, but paid way less than that and got double the memory, so I think its value for money product.

I bought this and thought for a second it mentioned mostly MAC compatible but nothing about PC/Windows was mentioned. I went with it anyways and as soon as I married these DIMS together with my Dell Precision M6600, oh you know…they work great. Fast and helps with multiple applications running at the same time.

The kit was a perfect pairing with the 5K iMac. I purchased 4 of these to get my new 5K iMac to 32GB of RAM. The installation was a snap and they all went in smoothly.

Easy installation. Very compatible with the 2012 MacBook Pro. I used two of these for a total of 16gb.

Excellent upgrade. My computer works just as fast (or maybe even faster) than the day I got it. Very happy with this upgrade. Also got new SSD drive from Crucial as well. I installed the memory first just to see if it alone would increase the computer, and, yes, it did. This plus the new SSD made the computer is VERY fast and HIGHLY responsive!
